What is a Vision Board and how can it make your employees happier individuals?

Life happens. People get busy and forget their dreams. They forget the goals they had earmarked earlier in life. A vision board helps people get in touch with them. 

A vision board lists out one’s goals and serves as a reminder.  The human brain has a strong visual memory, we’re likely to remember things we see rather than those that we hear and the vision board is primarily based on this fact.

How can your employees benefit with a vision board?

1. Morale booster:  Your job pays the bills but your dreams keep you alive! The vision board helps you get closer to your goals and pushes you to achieve them. Especially if timelines are added, it adds more gravity to the goal. Seeing the vision board everyday will motivate employees to plan and stick to the plan in order to achieve the goal.
2. Team Bonding: Companies try different things to get teams to bond, share and express. Team outings, workshops, etc, vision board is another useful way to get employees to bond. A vision board says a lot of people, their interests, their passions and ambitions.
