I, Dr. Rekha Thakur, am the Founder and Managing Director of Wellstar Clinic and Diagnostics Private Limited. Established in 2011, we provide diagnostic services in Delhi and NCR. We specialize in Pathology tests, Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, ECG, Echo, Home Care Services, Vaccinations and Multispecialty Consultations.
I was on a vacation with my parents and kids at Phuket in Feb 2018. There, my mother encountered a severe jerk on the speedboat and injured her spine. I felt lost for a moment not knowing what to do. The BNI label pin reminded me that I am not alone. I failed to connect to BNI global as the signal was poor. I called up our executive director Mr. Rakesh Kochhar and asked for help. He and Ms. Arti Kochhar immediately reverted with many local contacts. Rakesh Sir himself reached out to the Phuket BNI Members and shared my details. Suddenly like a magic spell, help started pouring in. I received an immediate call back from Mr. Kollakit(BNI Bangkok), Ms. Thanita(BNI Phuket) and Ms. Kay. I spoke to Miss Thanita and gathered all the information about the best hospitals in Phuket and how to facilitate the medical insurance. We were in constant touch for the next 2 weeks while working on my mom’s treatment.
I have experienced the magic of BNI and I am proud to be a member. I offer my heartfelt gratitude to every member of BNI Phuket and BNI Bangkok especially, Ms. Thanita, Mr. Kollakit and Ms. Kay for helping me in my need.
I thank Mr. Rakesh Kochhar and Ms. Arti Kochhar for their prompt response which was the key to my mother’s recovery.
