In my view BNI is neither a forum nor platform, it’s a tool. Any tool is graded based on how we use it for multiple or specific purposes. I gained a lot of experience and information from BNI, especially about presenting myself in a short time in Technicolor.
Using feature & focused feature presentations for finding referrals and sharing my business story with my friends at BNI, has helped me immensely.
One idea which inspired me the most in BNI was “Never do business in the room but, through the room.”
BNI has instilled confidence in me and encouraged me to open up and ask for referrals for my own or a friend’s business; assuring me that there is no shame in that.
